Recreate the Red Bull Cliff Diving Experience in a Tesco store.
What we did:
Using Oculus Rift technology we created a 3D photorealistic environment of the Serpents Lair on Inis Mor, the venue of the Irish Cliff Diving event. We went into extraordinary detail to create as real life an experience as possible, we recreated the lichen growing on the rocks, the sounds of seagulls and the roll of the waves on the sea.
When people put on the Oculus headset they were transported to Inis Mor standing 83 feet the water below preparing to dive.
Over 6,000 people tried the experience in-store and in offices
Content shared through the Red Bull Facebook page which has 45 million followers
It created lots of buzz in social media
The experience has been used in international markets including the US, Italy and Columbia
