Digital Designer
We are currently looking for a Digital Designer to join our creative department.
The Role
As a digital designer in ZOO we’d like you to:
- Obsess over design, typography, motion and layout
- Work proactively within a larger team to design and build rich social content and digital advertising projects from concept to delivery
- Create, storyboard and visualise campaign concepts
- Present your ideas both internally to the Creative Director and externally to clients.
- Produce and deliver various digital advertising assets across digital channels to a high standard
Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience are essential for this role:
- Minimum of 3 years relevant agency experience
- A strong portfolio of recent, relevant examples of work
- Third level qualification in design or related field.
- Animation and motion graphics experience
- Ad building and production skills (Animate, Google Web Designer)
- Experience in ad management platforms (Doubleclick)
- Thorough understanding and capabilities in standard industry software (Adobe CC etc)
- Strong creative concepting, visual communication and presenting skills
- Ability to work as part of a larger team to deliver beautiful design and award winning campaigns

Web / Experience Developer, Dublin
ZOO Digital is a multi award winning digital agency in Dublin. We have a wide range of clients and our work is very varied.
We are looking for an experienced developer to join our team. We work primarily in PHP and JavaScript Frameworks – but we also do work in C# and some other languages and systems, depending on the needs of the project. We work for clients like the ESB, Abbey Theatre, Davy Wealth Management, KBC, Bushmills and Focus Ireland.
We create websites, apps, voice systems and bespoke ‘experiences’ using hardware and software. We do a lot of UX and UI and we aim to create the best user interfaces and systems out there.
We are based in the centre of Dublin near Merrion Square. We are a team of 22 people with a small development team.
Our new team member will have at least 3 years experience, preferably full stack. You’ll be enthusiastic about technology and programming and have a willingness to adapt, learn and to bring new ideas to our work.
We work as part of a team and we work with the other disciplines including UX/UI, Marketing and project management.
Experience in the following would be beneficial:
- PHP (preferably some knowledge of Laravel),
- JavaScript(with modern syntax, some knowledge of React.js or Vue.js would be a bonus),
- Familiar with JS bundling tools such as Webpack,
- GIT version control,
- Relational databases,
- Basic Linux server configuration and operations,
- CMS experience incl WordPress / Sitefinity etc
- Enjoy working with the UX/UI team to advise them and to turn complex UI into code

Senior Account Manager
We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager (4+ years agency / industry experience) to join the excellent ZOO team.
Your role as a Senior Account Manager in ZOO will be varied but essentially it comes down to maintaining and growing excellent relationships with our clients. You’ll be responsible for directing and coordinating projects on behalf of our clients.
Typical activities:
- The day-to-day management of clients’ digital and content marketing and all that it encompasses
- Regular communication and liaison with clients at a senior level
- The organisation of client feedback
- Generating accurate reports and status notifications
- Pitching new innovative ideas to clients
- Completing projects to a specific schedule and within an agreed budget
- Using your knowledge and skills to push clients, the team and the agency in the most productive direction
- The planning of multimedia content for all digital channels
- Pro-active leadership that encourages teams to perform to the best of their ability
Skills required include:
- Experience (4 years +) in agency client relationship management
- A solid background in digital advertising and content marketing
- The implementation of social campaigns
- The ability to plan and strategise at a senior level
- A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Effective team management capabilities
- A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints
- Full awareness of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms
- The willingness to note relevant trends and develop ideas
