The digital transformation of a national institution.
What we did
We’ve been working with the team in the Abbey Theatre to help them to digitally transform their business.
To kick things off we met with key stakeholders, departments and theatre goers to get an understanding of their needs.
The first deliverable of the transformation was the redesign and development of the abbeytheatre.ie website.
We were given the single minded objective to sell more tickets online.
To do this our strategy focussed on four key areas:
Simplification and Focus Speed Deep content Digital first marketing
The resulting site has to be clicked to be believed. We flattened the site navigation down to the bare minimum so the focus is on selling tickets, it’s super fast (2 seconds to download a page on a standard 3G mobile connection), and it looks great.
